Petal & Stem is a small, family-run flower shop. The people who arrange the flowers are the same people who answer the phone and load the van.
Nothing comes out of a box.
Everything is arranged by hand, a few bouquets at a time. We build each one around a colour rather than a formula: a loose, garden-gathered shape with plenty of foliage.
What goes in depends on what is at its best that morning, which is why no two bouquets are ever quite the same.
Starting with the room.
For weddings we start with the room, the season and the dress, then work outwards to the bouquets, the buttonholes and the table. Couples see a sample arrangement before anything is finalised.

Orders placed earlier in the day are arranged and driven out across Portland the same day. We deliver the bouquets ourselves, so if something needs sorting on the doorstep, we can sort it.
